INTERNSHIP: MARKETING & MEDIA MANAGEMENT (2021)
Function
For 2021, Hardstyle.com is looking for a marketing & media management intern (40 hours per week). During the internship, you'll support the marketing & media management team of Hardstyle.com. The internship will start on 23rd of August.
As a leading and independent platform within the Hardstyle scene we operate on different levels. One of our core businesses is the music distribution for all labels and artist out there and reflect our data resources into weekly news topics including the official music charts, upcoming / new releases and so on. Second, we produce, provide and sell merchandise for a wide range of labels, events and artists within the Hardstyle community. As a third, Hardstyle.com will launch a new platform very soon which will serve as an all-in-one station for all harder styles news that our scene has to offer.
The year 2021 will be all about innovation, as we are currently re-developing our platform and therefore, we are looking for a hands-on candidate who is able to contribute in our new marketing and media strategy. Besides a winning mentality the candidate we are searching for should be comfortable with the following requirements:
Profile
- Affinity with Hardstyle music, labels and artists.
- A perfectionist willing to work for a leading brand.
- Is able and willing to work at irregular times (no 9 to 5 mentality).
- HBO level (or higher), attending a marketing/communication/economics/media studies or a similar education program.
- Experience with Adobe (Photoshop / After Effects) is a huge pre.
- Is available to work 5 days/week in Utrecht area.
- Is able to work independently.
- Is able to work in a stressful environment and can handle continuous feedback.
- Is willing to support but is also eager to learn and propose own ideas.
- Is a creative, innovative, organized, motivated, studious person.
- Socially and communicatively well gifted.
- Has a sharp eye for (new) business ideas.
- Is comfortable speaking and writing in English and Dutch.
