10. Noisecontrollers - Unite [2011]

Let's kick off the list with a genuine classic: Unite by Noisecontrollers secures the 10th spot in this list. Fun fact: in 2011, Defqon.1 moved from Almere to its current location in Biddinghuizen. It was the start of the huge Defqon.1 festival ground as we know it today!

9. Coone - Survival of the Fittest [2014]

It's hard to wrap our heads around the fact that Coone's track Survival of the Fittest, the Defqon.1 anthem from 2014, has been around for a decade. This track placed 9th, based on the current streams on Spotify.

8. Sub Zero Project - Path of the Warrior [2023]

"The path awaits for our quest to come. We are the warriors of Defqon.1!" In 2023, Sub Zero Project left their mark by creating the Defqon.1 Anthem, showcasing their unique sound. Through Path of the Warrior, they honored the passionate weekend warriors who visit Defqon.1 year after year.

7. KELTEK, Phuture Noize, Sefa - One Tribe [2019]

A memorable moment in 2019 was the collaboration between KELTEK, Phuture Noize, and Sefa on a unique anthem. It’s undoubtedly the most ambitious Defqon.1 anthem ever made, as the three major tribes of the festival (RED, BLUE, and BLACK) are represented to the fullest in this track. Defqon.1 broke tradition by giving us three different versions of the anthem and introducing Frenchcore into the track for the first time.

6. Project One - Maximum Force [2018]

Headhunterz and Wildstylez, performing together as Project One, were behind the creation of the Defqon.1 Anthem for 2018. It's one of those tunes that gets stuck in your head all day after you've heard it. We're really looking forward to hearing this song again at the festival grounds on the last weekend of June.

5. Frequencerz - Victory Forever [2017]

Frequencerz secured their spot in the top 5 of the most streamed Defqon.1 anthems with Victory Forever. This track instantly transports us back to 2017, when we joined thousands of warriors on the RED, screaming out the lyrics and dancing to the catchy melody of this track.

4. Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz & Wildstylez - World of Madness [2012]

2012 marked a historic moment for Defqon.1 when three legends of the harder styles, Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz & Wildstylez, were asked to deliver the anthem for that year.  Since its release, World of Madness has been praised as one of Defqon.1's finest anthems, making its prominent placement on this list entirely deserved.

3. Headhunterz - Scrap Attack [2009]

Talking about classics - we knew Scrap Attack by Headhunterz would turn up very high in this chart. Does anyone else get goosebumps from the roaring sound on the track? We certainly still do.

2. Ran-D - No Guts No Glory [2015]

"We will not stop, we will not kneel, we will not break, we will not fail..." Everyone knows that you have to scream these lyrics whenever this track plays. We're completely sure that No Guts No Glory by Ran-D will be blasting through the speakers somewhere on Defqon.1 next month, so be prepared.

1. D-Block & S-te-Fan - Primal Energy [Defqon.1 2022 Anthem]

The Spotify streams have declared: Primal Energy by D-Block & S-te-Fan claims the top spot on this list! Despite it's intention to be 2020's Defqon.1 Anthem, a year overshadowed by the global Covid pandemic and the cancellation of most festivals, the track was preserved until we could all once again embrace the party spirit in 2022.

For those wondering why this year's anthem, Sound Rush - Power of the Tribe, isn't on this list: the track's streams are going up each day, but given its recent release,  it hasn't had enough time to gain the high streaming numbers needed for this list.
