How to submit your hardstyle demo?

Have you been producing hardstyle music in your studio for years, dreaming of making a career out of it by performing at major events such as Defqon.1 Weekend Festival or Decibel outdoor? Hardstyle.com has you covered! Get your hardstyle demo ready and explore our list of record labels currently accepting demos.

Before we dive into outlining the terms and conditions for all the major hardstyle labels, here are a few general tips to remember before you send out your hardstyle demo:

GENERAL TIPS FOR SUBMITTING A HARDSTYLE DEMO

✦ Remember to submit tracks that are finalized and polished only. Unfinished projects are more likely to be turned down.
✦ Always submit the Extended Mix, never just the Radio Edit.
✦ Make sure to review the label's requirements for hardstyle demo submissions. Some labels have their own demo platforms, while others prefer links through Dropbox or SoundCloud. Double-check to avoid any confusion.
✦ Never send demos through social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook.
✦ Follow the label’s guidelines for file format – MP3, WAV, or both.
✦ Include a short motivation with information about yourself, your accomplishments, and why you would like to release with the label.
✦ If you have multiple tracks ready, send them all to give the label a choice.
✦ Submit your demo to only one label at a time. If you do not receive a response after a month or two, you can send it to another label.

Another important note: have patience. If labels don't reply to your hardstyle demo immediately, stay positive. They receive numerous demos and may not have the time to respond to all. Try sending a follow-up after 3-4 weeks. The demo probably wasn't accepted if you still haven't heard back.  If this happens repeatedly, focus on enhancing your production skills before submitting again. And always remember, never give up on your dreams!

With that being said, here's a rundown of all the terms and conditions to go through before submitting your hardstyle track to a music label. Good luck!

GEARBOX DIGITAL

Do you see yourself releasing your hardstyle tracks at Gearbox Digital? We've compiled all the information available on their website's demo drop page.

✦ Drop your demo via their official Gearbox demo drop page.
✦ Write a short motivation in your submission.
✦ Don't forget to add your social links! 
✦ Only Soundcloud, Dropbox, WeTransfer, and Google Drive links will be accepted.

Please note that because of the many demos they receive, Team Gearbox may not be able to provide feedback or respond to every track submitted. However, please do not be discouraged from sending in a new demo at a later date. 

DIRTY WORKZ

Dirty Workz is always looking for fresh and unique Hard Dance tracks. They love a bit of out-of-the-box thinking: "Music is not only about creating the tightest mixdown or having the coolest sound design, but also challenging yourself to be creative and an artist." 

✦ MP3 or WAV files only.
✦ Please only use Dropbox. If you don't have Dropbox, you can send a Soundcloud link. Any WeTransfer, Zippyshare or temporary download links will be ignored.
✦ Make sure that the track stays online as long as possible since it may take some time for Dirty Workz to listen.
✦ Tell something about yourself in five or less sentences.
✦ Sending us submissions via any other medium than this form will, unfortunately, not be considered.

SCANTRAXX

A few things to keep in mind before sending your hardstyle demo to SCANTRAXX:

✦ Your track should be submitted in .mp3 format.
✦ SCANTRAXX only accepts Harder Styles music.
✦ Only submit fully finished projects (so don't send work in progress or snippets).
✦ Your demo will be assessed by their experienced producers, Jacopo Mariotti (Kronos) and Demi Kanon.
✦ Once a month, SCANTRAXX does a live demo drop on Instagram and YouTube. Keep an eye on their socials to participate in the next live demo drop.

If your demo meets our requirements and standards, SCANTRAXX will email you. Please note that sending multiple submissions of the same track will not increase your chances of being selected. To submit your demo to SCANTRAXX, click this link. 

SAVAGE SQUAD RECORDINGS

Do you think you have what it takes to release on Savage Squad Recordings? Then take your shot and send over your hardstyle demo! But first, keep the following things in mind:

✦ Tell them some things about your ambitions in your submission.
✦ Important: MP3 (320 kbps) or WAV files only.
✦ Only brand new material!

The label states on its website, "We are hungry for producers who can blow us away with next-level tracks. Please, only send us your tracks if you think it has what it takes to be released on a professional platform." Send in your demo via the official Savage Squad Recordings website. 

THERACORDS

To have your demo reviewed by Theracords, you must follow these terms and conditions.

✦ Submit your hardstyle demo via the official Theracords website.
✦ It's important to submit original and unpublished material only. Keep in mind: no remixes, edits, bootlegs, or mashups.
✦ Collabs are not permitted either since they want to hear your own skills first.
✦ MP3 (320 kbps) or WAV files only.
✦ Don't forget to link to all your social media accounts.
✦ Demos can be sent via a private SoundCloud or Dropbox link.

If they think your music has the potential to be released on one of their labels, they'll contact you. "Keep in mind there is a lot of competition out there. Be unique and dare to be different!" Theracords promises to respond in 7 days—so keep an eye on your mailbox!

Q-DANCE MUSIC

Q-dance Music represents the best in the harder styles of dance music. They don't have a special demo drop server, but you can reach out to tracks@q-dance.com if you have a hardstyle demo ready for them. 

✦ Only Dropbox and SoundCloud links will be accepted.
✦ Note: don't send separate files in your email - they won't be opened! 

END OF LINE

Can you see yourself between names like D-Sturb, Warface, Bloodlust, and E-Force? Then send in your hardstyle demo to End of Line. A few minor things to keep in mind: 

✦ Drop your demo via their official website.
✦ Write a short motivation in your submission.
✦ Only Dropbox, WeTransfer, and Google Drive links will be accepted.

ROUGHSTAGE

Are you ready for the rise of the rough? Roughstate doesn't have a dedicated page on its website for hardstyle demos (yet), but you can send your demo to info@roughstatemusic.com. Send an e-mail that includes an introduction of yourself and a working Dropbox link.

UPCOMING RECORDS

Upcoming Records is a platform where talented producers of harder styles are free to release their music without strings attached. They believe that every talented artist has the right to be heard, making Upcoming Records the place to be for hardstyle talents.

✦ Send your demo to info@upcoming-records.nl. 
✦ Tell them something about yourself with a short motivation.
✦ Include a Dropbox link to your demo.

BE YOURSELF MUSIC 

Be Yourself Music is responsible for labels such as I AM HARDSTYLE, Art of Creation, and Derailed Traxx. They are always interested in new music and your demo, but due to the volume of demos they receive, they do not respond to submissions via email or social media. The only way to send your demo to Be Yourself Music is via this link.
